We are glad to see in-person events return, and we want to keep them happening. The policies below help us keep musicians, volunteers and audiences safe and healthy. We appreciate your patience as we adapt to this changing situation.
For most events, our policy is:
For the health and safety of our guests and performers, SFMS requires all patrons to show proof of full COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken within 72 hours of performance time. All patrons must wear masks regardless of vaccination status.
For some events, vaccination is required:
For the health and safety of our guests and performers, SFMS requires all patrons to show proof of full COVID-19 vaccination. For this event, at the request of the performers, all patrons must be fully vaccinated; there is no option for admittance with a negative COVID test alone. All patrons must wear masks regardless of vaccination status.
"Fully Vaccinated" means:
At the time of this writing, "fully vaccinated" means having received two doses (or one dose of single-dose vaccine) with the final dose at least two weeks before the event. We are following guidance from the CDC.
Boosters are not currently included in the CDC's definition, but may be in the future.
This policy may change!
Because the situation continues to evolve, our policy will also change as needed. Please check back regularly.
