Our fourth annual Harvest Dinner! Susquehanna Folk teams up with Beshore Hill Farm and the New Cumberland Collective to present an autumn evening with delicious hyper-local foods and a concert by local new-folk band Barkley Cove.

Harvest Dinner in the Field

Join us for a delicious outdoor meal (see menu below) featuring hyper-local foods: fresh vegetables directly from the farm and an on-site pig roast! Select your entree (pork or vegan BBQ) when you buy your ticket. Dinner will have lots of vegetarian and vegan friendly options.

Dress warm!

September evenings can be chilly, especially after sunset, so please dress to be warm enough. We'll have a bonfire! Bring a chair or blanket for the concert.

Live Music!

After dinner, enjoy a concert with local group Barkley Cove, the band to watch in the new folk scene. Founded on collaborative songwriting, strong vocal harmony, and improvisation, the four members of the band fearlessly mix genres of folk, rock, country, and bluegrass to create a distinctively original musical style. In 2024, they received the Spot Award for Best Collegiate Band from the Central Pennsylvania Music Awards. In 2024, Barkley Cove received the Spot Award for Best Collegiate Band from the Central Pennsylvania Music Awards. As their reach expands up and down the East Coast, their imaginative songwriting and dedicated musicianship continues to push the boundaries of folk music.

Parking and Accessibility:

Guests will be directed where to park in the field when they arrive, and stroll up the scenic hillside to the event area by the barn. Anyone who needs a lift up the hill (or back down) can request a ride in the golf cart, or can ask to park close to the dining area.

Inclement Weather

If light rain is in the forecast, Beshore Hill Farm has us covered (literally!) with a big awning to keep everyone dry all evening.

If heavier rain is forecast for Saturday, we'll move the event to Sunday (weather permitting, of course). Ticket-holders will be notified, and we will post the change on our website.

Our normal refund policy applies: we can only offer a refund if the event must be canceled completely. A washout is always possible, but we'll hope for a gorgeous autumn evening.
